Something for you math people to think about
Arrange 8 8's mathematically to equal 1000.
8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8 - arrange them in a math equation to equal 1000.
I will post the answer after a few attempts have made.

[(8+8)x8-(8+8+8)/8]x8
=[16 x 8 - 24 / 8] x 8
=[128 - 3] x 8
= 125 x 8
= 1000
sorry i ruined your fun :P

that's the solution to the equation....
3 is from 8+8+8 divide by 8
then you get 3

All he did was solve the original equation one step at a time so we could see how it happens.

Read carefully idiot. All the guy did was arrange them into an equation and then prove his equation by solving it. The rules don't say anything about not having to solve it yourself.

If he really wanted to mess with your mind, he would have just said:
(8+8)x8-(8+8+8)/8]x8 = 1000
And made you solve it yourself. [Which I doubt you could since you didn't even read the rules entirely, making yourself easy meat for the public].
